Great news for our local Jewell businesses! The Jewell Area Development Enterprise (JADE) is excited to announce the launch of our brand-new Business Growth Grant. This grant is specifically designed to provide financial assistance to existing Jewell business owners looking to expand and diversify their product lines and services.
Keeping up with consumer needs and desires can be challenging, and introducing new offerings often involves financial considerations. That's why JADE is ready to invest in YOU, our dedicated local business owners! By supporting your growth, we strengthen our entire community.

Who can apply? If you're a current business owner with a Jewell address and have been in business for at least one year, you're eligible! We also ask that applicants make a partner investment in JADE before they apply and reinvest the following year.

What kinds of projects are eligible? We're looking for projects that bring a new service or product line to Jewell. The JADE grant committee will review all proposals.

How much can I get? The maximum award is $1,000. Please note that eligibility requires a one-to-one match of the grant funds received.

How does it work? Funds are available on a reimbursement basis only. This means you'll make the purchases or complete the work first, and then we'll reimburse you upon approval and submission of receipts. Work or purchases made before your grant approval are not covered.

When will awards be made? In 2025, we will be awarding five $1,000 grants in September.

What's the deadline? Don't miss out! Applications are due by NOON on Friday, August 29, 2025. No exceptions will be made.

The application process is straightforward. You'll need to answer questions about your proposed expansion and provide funding estimates for your business costs. Remember to attach estimates for all planned expenses, photos, and design examples of your business location and the new products or services you plan to offer.
